Southern Illinois defeated Southeast Missouri State, 28-7, last year. SIU is the most-featured Gateway team in 2004 with three appearances on regional or national television, as the Salukis will also appear in a Sept. 11 telecast on Fox Sports Net (at Northern Illinois) and an Oct. 2 telecast on CSTV (vs. UNI).
